
The R & D department in Orbital solves our own development tasks but also development tasks for our customers. Your days at Orbital will be very busy and different and you will get to use your skills in close corporation with specialists.
Orbital´s selection of components for wind turbines consist of a TMC3 control computer and a line of other quality components where the development department is responsible for the product development. The development tasks for customers are different in both content and size. The denominator for the projects is that they are agile and the dialogue with the customers is close.
The employees in the automation department all have a electronic technical background which they use when solving exciting automation projects starting with welcoming the customers to design and development of PLC controls, to commissioning tests. PLC and HMI types from Schneider, Siemens, Rockwell will be used.
The customers are Danish machine builders from different branches such as agriculture, bio mass and food. Orbital´s automation department works from the principle that the customer has a focal point in the automation department who service the customer throughout the order process. This means travelling and visiting customers, commissioning plants and troubleshooting. SCADA solutions can often receive assistance from DK-6900 Skjern.

Orbital produces only in Denmark where the production is next to the administration at 5, Trykkerivej DK-6900 Skjern. It provides flexibility to the customers when an order require changes. The production ensures to build control boards in single pieces and in serial productions. A large part of the customers in the wind turbine industry are placed in export markets. It is all about the local markets such as Germany, but it is also about a long line of remote markets such as Japan, China, New Zealand, USA and Canada.
