Intelligent controlling and surveillance of pig stables

AgriFarm was etablished in 2013 when Hans Jørgen Pedersen and Erling Friis Pedersen bought the assets in  MT Højgaards agri division. Orbital built the first controlling boards for AgriFarm in 2013 and has since 2016 been the supplier of all programming and controlling boards for IntelliFarm®  pig stable.  The stable system has a row of obvious advantages. It is possible to increase the number of produced pigs with remarkably less use of energy and at the same time reduce the environment and climate impact from the stable. Advantages which above all increases the pig farmers bottom line report. 

Automation and controlling systems are essential in IntelliFarm® stables. Therefore it is important for AgriFarm to have a control supplier and business partner who possess the right competences and knowledge with-in automation. It ensure the design of the controlling system to meet the quality demands at IntelliFarm®. Furthermore, it is important to AgriFarm to being able to offer a standardised solution which creates transparency in project phases of new IntelliFarm® stables.

In addition to being the supplier of controlling boards to IntelliFarm® stables,  Orbital has given advise on development of an innovative SCADA system for surveillance and controlling of the stables. The system enables us to receive alarms, set parameters, optimize stable efficiency from smartphone, tablet and computers. AgriFarm technicians and stable staff will get access to the system.

AgriFarm is focused on further growth in the future. We expect to expand the corporation with Orbital with focus on developing  IntelliFarm® with innovative concepts for controlling and ventilation in climate and energy-optimized stables in Denmark and in the rest of the world.
