Controlling boards and cabinets for vibration measurements

Uhre & Nybæk are specialists within vibration measurements and vibration analysis within wind energy, oil and gas, marine and a row of other industries. Uhre & Nybæk assist their customers in performing predictive maintenance and hereby avoid fatal crashes of costly mechanical components. Orbital delivers controlling boards to Uhre & Nybæk  and mobile  test trunks for on-site vibration measurements.

The controlling boards as well as the test trunks are used for vibration measurements and troubleshooting maintenance levels of machines and plants. Detecting changes in vibration patterns makes it possible to obviate, solve problems in their early stages, determine causes and obtain cost reductions.

Orbital produces controlling boards in series.  Prior to the upstart of a new production line, the electrical constructors at Orbital has made sure to dimension and construct the controlling boards according to standards and requirements from Uhre & Nybæk.

Finally, the production makes sure to mount the boards into serial productions. Before the boards are delivered at Uhre & Nybæk, the boards will undergo a product specific test procedure to ensure the boards meet the agreed requirements and expectations.  Documentation will be printed and placed inside the boards before being shipped from Orbital.

In addition, Orbital also produces mobile test trunks which the employees at Uhre & Nybæk bring when they perform service at different locations. Orbital´s Research and Development department has looked into different materials, components and shapes to affirm that both duration and functionality of the trunks meet Uhre & Nybæk´s  demands.

Mounting the trunks has been a task for the Orbital production lines. Uhre & Nybæk has themselves delivered some critical components which Orbital has mounted.  This enables the trunk to be ready as soon as they leave Orbital´s production lines.
