Orbital Research & Development ( R & D) solves design tasks of controlling system for new types of wind turbines and R & D also develops excisting controlling systems. Prior to new development projects, initial meetings will be held with the customer and requirement specifications will be prepared. During the project you will receive status, updates and reports. Danish production of controlling boards for wind turbines
Orbital produces all control boards in Denmark. Skilled and committed employees build the boards effectively, carefully and on time. Orbitals strength and flexible working strategy is only possible because we have developers, engineers and production lines at the same location. When the control boards are built, they must pass the Factory Acceptance Test ( FAT) which is an extensive testing setup at Orbital. FAT simulates the connection to a wind turbine and to a grid.
Grid demands to wind turbine installations
Orbital has extensive knowledge to grid and network demands which vary from country to country. Our engineers assist you in the understanding of demands, low measurements and conforming the control boards to your wind turbines to ensure approval in the different countries. In some countries the network demands are so high that the control boards needs assistance from advanced inverter technology. Orbital also develops and produces these solutions and ensures they meet the high demands of safety and power quality.
OrbiSCADA surveillance
SCADA surveillance of wind turbines gives you and your customers access to benefits. Orbital has its own SCADA system called OrbiSCADA, to which more than 1500 wind turbines are connected. Employees working for wind turbine manufacturers will get access to wind turbine installations via OrbiSCADA. It is possible to get the OrbiSCADA system to plan and document service. Having OrbiSCADA is moreover a qualified sales tool when you wish to introduce your wind turbines to new markets.
