Development and production of controls for the fishing industry
Kaj Olesen A/S is an innovative machin factory who employs about 20 workers at the firms address at DK-6830 Noerre Nebel. Quality has been the key word since Kaj Olesen started his machining factory in 1998.
Then, the range consisted of ”EASY-MATIC pinboner” – a machine to remove bones from salmon and trout. Today, over 500 copies have been sold worldwide. The range of machines for the fishing industry has expanded and Kaj Olesen A/S offers a wide range of different machines to automation of work processes.
”The controlling mechanism is an important competitive parameter for our machines globally – improved controlling offers competitive machines. Our business model rests on quality and service and it means that the controlling mechanism must be able to work and remain future proof. When Kaj Olesen A/S sells a machine for processing fish, it must optimize the customers production by automising routines and manual labour”, says Kim Olesen, CEO.
In January 2015 Kaj Olesen A/S initiated a cooperation with Orbital. Since the beginning focus has been on creating mutual understanding for Orbitals project engineers, electrical constructors and technicians all know Kaj Olesens machining controls an needs.
Today, Orbital delivers automation for all automatically run machines at Kaj Olesen A/S. The tasks span from serial production of smaller controlling units to large development projects where machin controls are being designed for complex tasks.
In addition to controlling boards and PLC programming, Orbital has designed user friendly HMI solutions which makes service easy for the operators.
