TMC3 Controlling system for wind turbines

Orbitals TMC3 wind turbine controller is designed to stall-regulate wind. It is a suitable match for private household wind turbines sizing 10kW to 750 kW.

The Danish developed and produced wind turbine controller from Orbital offers you a controller which has already been installed in more than 1500 wind turbines globally. It is compatible with a wide range of wind turbine types from various manufacturers and it is an experienced wind turbine controller which effectively controls the wind turbine and optimizes your production and profit. 

The TMC3 wind turbine controller is cost effective as it is an all-in-one controller solution combining control, surveillance, communication and data logging. Communication interfaces such as USB and Ethernet ( Modbus TCP) provides you with easy access to the TCM3 to changing parameters and updating software.

Quick and easy access to your TMC Controller

From the display on the TMC3 you can access all menus where you can read status messages and set the controller´s parameters. The TMC3 is available in two editions. One has an integrated display and the other has an external display which you can place on the controlling cabinet of the wind turbine for easy access. 

Orbital´s intelligent vibrator sensor, OrbiVib, can connect to the TMC3. This enables you to monitor the wind turbines´own frequency to the very last detail and prevents the wind turbine to fluctuate  and cause damage and accidents. 

The modular TMC3 construction enables you to extend different functions to the wind turbine controller.

A line of different print boards are available:

• 8 analoge input and 8 analoge output (0-10V / 0-20 mA)
• Thyristor control for soft start and cut in of generator.
